One more to go

Lakers win a pivotal Game 6.... So unbelievably exciting. One would think that I was either jumping up and down on the couch or at the game... Nope I had to multi- task to get all the work done that I need to do and don't have enough working hours to do it in! I probably should not be complaining about all the work I have... And I am really not, but I really wanted to pay 100% attention to the game and not 50%. Oh well... Game 7 is Thursday and I WILL NOT be doing anything but watching that game!

I can't stop staring

I thought today would be a good day to talk about the most important man in my life... my fiance Rich. Isn't he the most handsome? I love him more than I thought possible. He has made my life so much better than I ever thought I can possibly have. He has bought me this beautiful home we live in and today he bought me my dream engagement ring.... The Tiffany Novo ring!!!! Although it was not bought from Tiffany's (why pay that ridiculous mark-up????) it is an exact copy of the design and it is STUNNING. I can't stop staring at it. It just captures my eye! I would post a picture, but that would envoke jealousy amongs my readers... I do have reader's right? Umm...

I met Rich atleast 10 years ago if not longer. We met through my ex-husband. Some might think that is a terrible way to meet. I personally say he was the bridge I needed to meet Rich. We might not have a fairy tale start (do I really want to be proud of meeting him in a bar???) but we get the fairy tale ending. In almost 4 months I will be his wife and I can not wait. He is the such a wonderful man. He is good, kind, handsome, smart, loving and every other adjective I can think that is positive. He is that man to me.

Am I gushing? Are you sick yet?

Okay, I will stop now... I am going to go back to staring at my ring. ;-)

Overwhelmed

Well... day two of the blog and it is 9:45 and I am just getting to this... so this will be a quick one. As you can see from the title I am feeling a bit overwhelmed today. Which is good news and bad. Good news is that I have won so many projects over the last few weeks that I don't have to worry about money so much. Bad news is I do not know how I am going to get any of them done. I never ask for help from the people in my office... think I am going to have to. Too much to do... not enough hours in the day to do it... Good night all... see ya tomorrow!

Its my half birthday today

Hello All~ Welcome to my blog! This is a first for me! I have never had a journal let alone a blog. We will see how long this lasts! So today I am exactly 34-1/2 years old. When did I hit 30???? Geez! And in 6 months I will be half way through my 30's.... Kinda a scary thought for me! So the title of my blog is Daisy Duke named after my "little" baby Daisy! Seen here! Isn't she the cutest thing ever???? Okay, well that might not be the best picture of her. I just think it is hysterical! She is going to be 9 years old this year and I am lucky enough to have her since she was practically a puppy! Dogs are truly man's (or woman's) best friend! She has been the constant in my life and has seen me through some pretty sad times and rejoiced with me in happy times! I love her so much and thank her every day for being my puppy! There is so much to say in a first blog that I am afraid that I am going to end up boring my audience. Do I have an audience? I doubt it. Which makes me wonder why I am even doing this? Maybe I will have this as my chronicle for atelast the next 6 months until I hit 35! We shall see! So this first 6 months of 34 has been an AMAZING time. Two huge things happened..... 1. I got engaged! I will talk more about the love of my life in a later blog... it could be a long one. That man is amazing and I can not imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else. 2. We got a new home! Here is my kitchen... Isn't it awesome??? My kitchen is the favorite but everything else looks amazing as well. Here are a few more pics of the living room and dining room.
